Bloodrednails: A Study In Polish Spoilers, The Woman Who Walked the Earth

Немного грустно писать о лаках, которые больше не производятся. Особенно если они очень нравятся. Это лаки марки A Study In Polish из коллекции Doctor Who Spoilers и The Woman Who Walked the Earth.

It is a bit sad to write about polishes that are no longer available. Unfortunately the brand A Study In Polish ceased its existence. It is even more sad when the polishes are so beautiful. So today I’m going to tell about two polishes from Doctor Who collection Spoilers and The Woman Who Walked the Earth.

По ТТХ лаки одинаковы, поэтому расскажу сразу об обоих. Оба лака текстуры желе, в котором плавают глиттеринки разных размеров. Глиттер набирается на кисть в достаточном количестве, и нет необходимости его вылавливать.

На первом слое оба дают прозрачное покрытие, на котором могут быть полосы и проплешины, но второй слой все исправляет. Если же хочется совсем непрозрачного покрытия, то потребуется третий слой. Я оставила два слоя, чтобы сохранить желейность, которую я так люблю. =)

Both polishes have similar formula: they are jellies with hexes of different sizes. The quantity of glitter is sufficient and there’s no need to fish it out from the bottle.

The first coat is rather transparent and may have streaks. However on the second coat the color intensifies and becomes even. If you want to have it opaque you’ll need three coats. But I have two coats, I like them squishy and a bit transparent. =)))

A Study In Polish Spoilers – тиловое желе с плавающими в нем голубыми, желтыми и зелеными шестигранниками разных размеров.

A Study In Polish Spoilers is a teal jelly packed with blue, yellow and green hexes of different sizes.

На макро хорошо видны глиттеринки. Here you can see the hexes.

Наносится лак отлично, не затекает на кутикулу, легко корректируется.

It applies greatly without staining your cuticles. Moreover it cleans up well.

Свой глянец у лака неплохой, но глиттеринки немного торчат, поэтому необходим слой топа.

The polish is glossy, however the glitter sticks out a bit. To make it even you’ll need a top coat.

A Study In Polish The Woman Who Walked the Earth – желе цвета сливы с розовыми и сиреневыми шестигранниками.

A Study In Polish The Woman Who Walked the Earth is a plum-colored jelly with pink and violet hexes.

Здесь есть шестигранники покрупнее.

Этот лак тоже отличник по нанесению. И при снятии ногти ни тот не другой не окрашивает.

Application is also great. Both polishes don’t leave stains when removed.

Этот лак напомнил мне сливовое варенье. =) Здесь он нанесен в два слоя с топом. Очень симпатичный даже на коротких ногтях (все поломала – пришлось спилить).

This polish reminded me of a plum jam – it looks really “tasty” =))) Here it is applied in two coats plus a top coat. I think it looks nice even with short nails! It’s a great pity that I’ve broken a couple and had to file all of them.
